About Brandy Freeling
My yoga journey began 18 years ago when I stepped into the arena of motherhood, finding the stress and anxiety to be overwhelming. Although I would run half marathons, triathlons, and engage in a regular exercise routine, my struggle was real! So I joined the growing practice of yoga and realized that it complimented my life bringing incredible fitness, but more importantly an awareness of my well BE-ingness. After many years, I decided to expand my understanding of yoga and become a Certified Yoga Instructor where I completed 200 hours of training under the direction of renowned teacher and author, Rolf Gates. Following training, I would continue to attend retreats around the globe, learning more about myself, and the benefits yoga brings to all.
Today I share yoga with those who want to practice, whether that be high school/college athletes, small group sessions, or private guidance. My Bachelors degree in Exercise Science certainly lends itself to many aspects of yoga, relating to athletes and non-athletes alike. Although I would be missing the point if I didn't mention my teachers most beloved quote...
"Yoga is not a work-out, it is a work-in," Rolf Gates
